Today, a team of doctors and technicians from the United Kingdom began performing heart surgeries on children at An-Najah National University Hospital as part of a volunteer program organized by the "Healing Little Hearts" foundation.
The support provided by the family and friends of the child, Isabella, who suffered from a heart condition, played a significant role in facilitating this mission. Additionally, Dr. Saeed Suleiman from the University of Bristol, a Palestinian doctor, contributed to this effort. The Ministry of Health's Purchased Services Unit, represented by Dr. Afif Al-Ataouna, also supported and participated in the mission. Furthermore, the dedicated efforts of the doctors and technicians at NNUH and the Islamic Charitable Society Hospital were crucial in the success of this initiative.
This mission is part of the hospital's ongoing efforts to strengthen its partnerships with global medical educational institutions, with the aim of enhancing healthcare services, advancing medical education, and promoting scientific research in various medical fields.
