Dr. Khaled Al-Demyati has been practicing medicine for 23 years. He is a specialist in general surgery and laparoscopy, with a precise sub-specialty in liver, pancreas, and biliary surgery. He also has advanced expertise in liver transplantation surgery. Currently, he works in the Surgery department at Al-Najah National University Hospital.

He completed his medical degree at Al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad in 2000. He specialized in general surgery and laparoscopy at the University of Malaya. He obtained a precise sub-specialty in liver, pancreas, and biliary surgery from the YSGLL Center for Liver and Pancreatic Surgery in 2012. He has published more than 23 medical research papers in international journals, most of which are in the field of advanced surgeries.

Dr. Khaled Al-Demyati is the head of the Scientific Committee and Examination Committee in the field of surgery and its sub-specialties at the Palestinian Medical Council. He is also a member of the Higher Scientific Committee at the Council. Additionally, he has served as a member of the Scientific Committee and Examination Committee in the field of surgery and its sub-specialties at the Arab Board of Health Specializations and the Committee overseeing specialization programs.
