The Orthopedic Trauma, Bone Health and Clinical Outcomes Research Group is a multidisciplinary clinical research platform focused on musculoskeletal trauma, fracture management, bone health, orthopedic diagnostics, pain, functional recovery, and patient-centered outcomes. The group builds on established work at An-Najah National University Hospital in fracture care, complex limb reconstruction, Ilizarov techniques, knee injury assessment, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis and bone mineral density, musculoskeletal pain, and quality of life. It also supports cross-specialty research linking orthopedics with nephrology, oncology, radiology, rehabilitation, infection control, and clinical epidemiology. The group aims to develop prospective registries, observational cohorts, diagnostic-accuracy studies, and quality-improvement projects that improve orthopedic decision-making and long-term functional outcomes in Palestine and comparable settings.
