Oncology and Hematology Nursing Research Group

Oncology and Hematology Nursing Research Group

The Oncology and Hematology Nursing Research Group is a nursing-led, multidisciplinary research platform focused on improving supportive care, symptom management, patient safety, quality of life, and clinical outcomes among patients with cancer and hematologic diseases. The group builds on the hospital’s experience in leukemia care and bone marrow transplantation and connects clinical nursing practice with oncology, hematology, palliative care, mental health, infection prevention, clinical pharmacy, and laboratory medicine. The group conducts retrospective, observational and prospective studies, quality-improvement projects, nursing interventions, qualitative research, and evidence synthesis, with particular attention to high-risk patients receiving chemotherapy, hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation, and complex supportive care.
