Nablus - Al-Najah News - Al-Najah National University Hospital held a press conference to announce that it has received accreditation from the Joint Commission International for the quality of healthcare services, becoming the first accredited academic medical center in Palestine.
The hospital obtained international accreditation from the Joint Commission International based on its compliance with the organization's evaluation standards. These standards focus on three main areas: direct patient care and safety, the hospital's administrative system, and training and development standards for students in addition to scientific research.
The conference was opened by Mr. Khaled Al-Husseini, Director of the Public Relations Department at An-Najah University, on behalf of Dr. Rami Hamdallah, the President of the Board of Trustees of NNUH. He praised the significant achievement of the hospital, which reflects the collaborative efforts between the hospital's staff and the university. He expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to obtaining this accreditation.
Dr. Kamal Hajazi, the CEO of the hospital, expressed his pride in this achievement, emphasizing the hospital's full commitment to the standards set by the International Accreditation Commission. This accreditation marks the hospital as one of the most important medical facilities accredited by the commission for healthcare service quality in Palestine, and it is unique as the only accredited academic medical center in Palestine.
